Fragrance and Perfume Tips

The appeal of fragrance goes back centuries, with the use of plants, animal sources and incense in religious ceremonies. Each civilization had their own use and opinions of fragrance as time passed. Scents emit beauty and allure.
Modern fragrances and perfumes evolved and have become a multi-billion dollar industry. Different types come with various price tags.
Perfumes provide the best value but are the costliest of all fragrances.

Parfum - The most expensive with the longest staying power.
Eau de Parfum - Less oil and staying power.
Eau de Toilette - Suitable for office and work environment provided there's no allergies or complaints. :-)
Eau de Cologne - The most inexpensive and weakest scent.

The most popular scent categories include:
Fresh, natural, green and floral scents
Fruity, citrus and spicy
Musk and pheromones
Oriental
Classic woodsy scent
Sporty scents

Choosing Fragrance and Perfume
Women often choose their fragrance according to their personality and chemistry without even realizing it. What appeals to them often reflects their personal self.
Fragrances smell different on everybody, so it's best not to test a scent on a friend. When shopping, stick to no more than three or four perfumes so you don't confuse them. A fragrance will smell different several minutes after you apply it, so give it some time before making any decisions.

Applying Fragrance
Apply fragrance to your skin and pulse points only. Allow it to dry naturally. Do not rub your wrists together, this will alter and diminish the scent. Avoid using it near your face or behind your ears. There is no staying power in those locations and this will only dry out your skin.

To avoid any stains and discoloration, do not get any on your clothing or jewelry. Let your fragrance dry before getting dressed. Some perfumes are darker and have more of a tendency to stain, so take special care with "dry clean only" clothing that can't be washed after every wear. Follow proper storage rules, fragrance will darken with age and improper storage.
For a longer staying aroma, apply the same scent in layers. Many fragrances also come in bath soap, gel, and body lotion. Top off with perfume of the same scent for the long run. This will probably last you six to eight hours.

Keep strong fragrances out of the office and workplace. Some people genuinely have an allergy to perfumes and don't appreciate the irritation. They can produce headaches and bring on an asthma attack, so apply sparingly.

Storing Fragrance and Perfumes
Avoid extreme temperatures when storing fragrances. Keep your bottle tightly capped, upright and out of direct sunlight. It's not necessary to store them in the refrigerator, however, a cool, dark place should prolong the life of your scent.

A tip to remember... Don't stockpile your perfumes for a special day. Over time, the scent will alter and diminish and you won't get what you paid for. Enjoy your fragrance today, while it's in it's prime.

Diet Tips and Tricks

Here is a selection of diet tips and tricks that I've used to help myself stay on a diet...some of these things are very simple and very commonsense, but I've found that some people just don't realize the little tricks of the dieting trade. So here is a few tips that you can use in your dieting:
1. Eight, 8 oz. glasses of water everyday
...this is a common diet tip and most people know this, yet they still don't drink enough water during the day. There are some very important reasons for drinking water, first off, its zero calorie, zero chemical, zero caffeine, and the ideal thing to curb your appetite. Drinking water will flush out the bad toxins in your body, will get your kidney's working, and even help your metabolism speed up a little. Drinking water also takes up space in your stomach, it reduces the cravings just a bit, and will make you feel a little more full when you do eat your calories for the day. If you want an added benefit from water, make sure you drink cold water, this will speed up your metabolism a bit and make you burn up a few extra calories. Remember that when you are losing weight, the fat that you are losing sometimes has stored toxins in it, drinking water will help flush out those toxins.
2. Keep track of your progress.
Its very easy to break your diet if you don't monitor what you eat during the day. Get yourself a little journal that you write down what you've eaten, the calories you've eaten, and what type of workout you've done for the day. By keeping track of the calories, you'll make sure that you don't go over a certain caloric amount during the day. Also tracking your workout will also show you the areas that you've improved in...trust me, its great inspiration to see how far you've come. Keeping a journal of your progress is very important, because it shows you in some tangible way that you are making progress.
3. Variety may be the spice of life,
but it also can be the downfall of a good diet. When doing your grocery shopping, if you don't buy junk food or foods that are bad for you, it makes it that much harder for you to break your diet on the spur of the moment. Its much harder to resist the temptation of a chocolate bar if its sitting right in front of you. Remove unnecessary temptations...if you only have healthy foods in the house and low cal foods, then it would be that much harder to break your diet.
4. Smaller meals throughout the day rather then larger meals.
If you eat smaller meals throughout the day, your metabolism will stay at a higher rate and you won't feel as hungry throughout the day. Just having all your calories at one sitting will doom you to that hungry feeling and if you have that hungry feeling you'll be a little more apt to break your diet. If you have a series of smaller meals, you'll be able to feel slightly full at different moments of the day...there will be less time you have to "do without" and you'll feel better for it. Your body will also process smaller meals better and subsequently burn off the calories quicker.
5. Eat negative calorie foods,
you can see the list in the Negative Food Section of this website. These are foods that you can eat in any quantity and not feel guilty about eating them. They work in a negative calorie way and are allowed to be consumed whenever you want.
6. Fat burning foods,
yes, some foods will speed up your metabolism, for a list of those foods visit my other website: Fat Burning Foods
7. Eat to live, don't live to eat.
Yes, I've always hated when someone said that statement to me, but in truth, its an important lesson to learn. The reasons we eat certain foods or indulge in certain junk foods is often far from being hungry. Some people eat to comfort themselves, some people eat for the pleasure of eating, the taste, texture, etc, but you really have to ask yourself, what should be the function of food in my life. You want to shift the focus of food as entertainment to food being what fuels your body...too much is bad and your body won't function properly. Changing your attitude towards food is important if you want to succeed in any diet.
8. Exercise is important
its important to add muscle to your body, why? Because muscle burns up calories 18 times faster then fat does on your body. So, add more muscle, your metabolism is increased, and you can burn off more calories per day.
9. Plan ahead
- the fast food industry banks on people's need for food on the go...if you take the time to prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner, you become a little more in control of your daily caloric intake. While you can eat at fast food places, most of the menu is off limits to you...if you are going to a fast food place, know what foods are okay for you to eat, know how many calories are in the food, how many grams of fat, etc. Don't just assume that this sandwich that you get will be a certain number of calories...its important that you know the exact amount of calories. Also, if you are going to a restaurant, think ahead of what you want to eat there...remove that temptation and stick to exactly what you planned on eating before going to the restaurant.
10. Soups, YAY for soups,
this is one of my favorite things to eat while dieting. It takes a long time to eat, its filling, its low calorie, and its good for you. There was a study a few years ago that stated soup added to a diet will speed up your metabolism and reduce the hunger cravings. There are two things to look out for, creamy soups (higher in calorie) and the salt level in soups. Unfortunately, most canned soups are also high in salt, so take that into consideration when eating soup.
11. Reducing the fats that you eat during the day,
but also being aware of the myth of no-fat foods. Lowering the amount of fats in your diet just makes good sense. Fat is denser and less likely to fill you for a sustained period of time, also, fat and cholesterol is not a heart healthy solution (there are some healthy fats...see the fat burning food site). Be aware of the "no-fat" "low-fat" products they have in the store. The way they usually make these items low-fat yet tasty is by adding more sugar. Just because something says low-fat doesn't mean that you can't gain weight from it. Another thing, if you substitute fatty foods with vegetables, you'll find that you feel fuller because of the fiber levels in fruits and vegetables.
12. Eat slowly.
I know that sometimes you have to rush your food down because you're late for work or late for an appointment, but if you eat slowly you will enjoy the food more, you will feel a little more satisfied, and your body can honestly tell you, "Hey, I'm full, no need to finish that whole plate of food" if you eat to quickly your body doesn't have time to send you the message that you're full and you end up eating more.
13. Most of all, if you do break your diet one day,
get right back on the diet...Do not go on a weak of breaking or longer. It just makes it that much harder to get motivated to start up again. We are only human, people will break their diets from time to time, but its okay to break it one day as long as you get back on your diet the next day.

These are just a few tips for dieting...I'll be adding more as this website grows a bit and I get more responses from people on the topic of dieting and diet tips. Please check back soon, I'll be adding more to this section regularly.

Alcohol drinking tips

Take it easy and don’t get too excited: This is not a collection of tips on how to get waisted, it’s just the opposite:
If you’re young and don’t have a personal or religious problem with alcohol, then the truth is that you’ll eventually drink some. Depending on your entourage, even a lot of: You’ll go to parties where people drink beer, whiskey, wine or others. You’ll end up seeing guys running naked in the backyard, girls throwing their drunken guts out, or even - God forbid - teenagers falling into alcoholic coma. You DON’T want to be one of them. Being dead drunk may seem exciting for an US 21 year old going in a bar with their first REAL ID card, but it’s NOT.
The following tips come from my feeble experience, some of them were taught to me by my father when I first went to a party, some of them by my friends, some of them it’s just stuff I learned around. So… how can you survive an alcohol drinking party with just enough soberness not to feel bad, sick, or fall prey to embarrassing events?

Tip 1. Never go drink on an empty stomach
I told you I got sick twice from too much drinking. To be honest, though, I didn’t drink that much. Both times, the real reason was that I hadn’t eaten anything before getting to the party. No, chips, peanuts and other tiny snacks are not FOOD. Alcohol absorption is increased by hunger, you get more dizzy from one beer on an empty stomach feels than from two on a full one.
Tip 2. You decide how much you drink, not your friends
It’s not a contest. You DON’T need to drink all the beers your friends give you. Not all men/women are born equal. Some hold their liquor better than others. If you start feeling bad, but your friends insist to keep drinking, just STOP. Go drink some juice or water instead. This applies especially to skinny people - alcohol absorption is dependent on the body structure/weight, which also means generally girls are less alcohol resistant than boys. (though I’ve met plenty of exceptions as well)
Tip 3. Make it last longer
Nobody likes it short. If you finish your beer in a minute you’ll be the one not drinking while the others do, and you’ll feel compelled to get a new one. So, instead, make it last longer. Talk, take a sip, talk some more, eat some chips, talk some more. A cool tip one Englishman taught me was to mix beer and sprite - one bottle of beer, one of sprite, mixed 50/50 in one glass. It obviously lasts twice as long, yet you drink the same amount of alcohol. Your friends will not even notice.
Tip 4. Don’t mix the drinks and always eat between themThis
is also well known - don’t drink strong liquor(whiskey) followed by beer, by champagne, by strong liquor, by beer, etc. You’ll get drunk, faster and uglier. You’ll get sick. So, don’t: never alternate drinks. At parties around here, for instance, we’d drink the stronger liquors(martini, whiskey and such) as an appetizer, then we’d eat the hors-d’oeuvres, followed by wine with the main course. If it takes longer, it would be followed by snacks and beer. In the end, if the case, the sweet wine/sparkling goes with the cake. Notice the rule? Don’t go back, and always eat between different drinks.
Tip 5. Oily food - less alcohol absorption
An oily esophagus/stomach absorbs less alcohol. This is a tip for the hard-core drunkards, but they probably know it already.
Tip 6. When dizzy, take a break
After three-four half-a-litter pints and not enough snacks in between I’d get dizzy and start having problems with equilibrium. It’s time for a break - walk out in fresh air, get some water on my face, stay a while in a quieter place. There’s no harm in it - just tell your buds you went to the loo.
Tip 7. When feeling sick, go throw up
If you didn’t follow through the previous tips, you may eventually feel really bad. The room is spinning, you feel a bit like wanting to throw up, only not quite so. The first time it happened it ruined the party for me. I would just sit in a corner, trying to clear my head and feel better. No success. Luckily, someone with more experience helped me - I went to the toilet and forced myself to throw up(one finger down the throat). After rejecting the alcohol in excess, and after freshing up, you’ll feel a lot better. These are some of the tips I’d give to my boy(if I ever have one) when he’d go to his first parties. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, knowing this kind of stuff is what growing up is all about. If you have other tips you want to share with us, just go ahead and comment below. As always, your input is welcome.

Ten things men hate about women

No doubts that men heartily love women. However, numerous opinion polls reveal that there are ten basic factors with females that strongly irritate men.
1. Men do not like women pretending they are chaste. Men believe that women should stay themselves and give up every attempt to seem better. Indeed, women these days are not restricted in entertaining themselves and can enjoy life to the utmost, just exactly the way that men do.
2. Men hate it when their women criticize other females. This is a proven fact that women often treat other women as rivals. But remember that a woman will gain no popularity with men if she continuously criticizes other women’s dresses, shoes and handbags and also their compatibility with each other. Men actually do not care very much if their women wear fashionable dresses or not, have stylish coiffure or not.
3. Women’s jealousy exasperates men. This is absolute nonsense that jealousy revives relationship. The jealousy lifestyle can break even the strongest relationship. Jealousy appears when someone in a couple does not trust his partner. Remember that trust is the basis of your relationship.
4. Men also do not like to be treated as an emotional support. They get irritated when women always demand caresses and hugs, when women ask to call them special. Men do not like diffident women; they say it is even worse than self-confident and independent women.
5. It is no good for women to employ the speech code in relations with men. When women employ the ‘What are you thinking about?’ speech code they thus hope to pump real feelings and emotions out of men. When a woman asks a man this sort of vague questions she expects to catch his unawares and learn what his real feelings toward her are.
6. Some women want all the spare time of their men to be devoted to them only. This is some sort of interference with men’s private life. At the worst, women start asking relatives and close friends what their men did or are doing at this particular moment. They also ransack men’s pockets and desk drawers in search of some evidence. Women must not behave like proprietresses.
7. This is incredible but women’s emotionality makes men absolutely mad. Unlike women, men are sure that broken nails or touching films are not a trouble at all. Males do not love their female partners burst into tears or fly into a rage on every trifle occasion.
8. It is universally known that men hate women’s never-ending shopping. Men generally believe that twenty four hours in a day are not enough for women to enjoy shopping, to have an opportunity to touch and try on everything they find. Men find it the most terrible ordeal when women insist that men must accompany them during shopping.
9. Women’s talkativeness is also irritating, men say. Women’s brain easily conceives every minute detail while men do not like to listen to nonessential details.
10. Women have a sure leverage to demonstrate their superiority over men. This is sex which is the most powerful weapon in the war between males and females. Women deprive their men of sex in an attempt to punish them. But the measure may in some cases have lamentable consequences for women.

When we consider the above bad habits of women closer, we can see they are not so terrible. Nobody is perfect, and partners should learn to compromise and be patient toward each other.

Do's and Don'ts For a First Date

It can be difficult to be a woman in the dating arena. A lot of things can go wrong for you more than it can for your male counterpart. Plus, men can be really dense about a few things. Well, no worries. Here are a few tips on what to do and not to do during a date:
1) Timing is important - Timing as in 'on time'. No matter what they say, there is no such thing as 'fashionably late'. For the first date, this can give the guy jitters and make him think that you've stood him up. For the later dates, having him wait for you in the living room for half an hour with either your roommate, your sister or, worse, your father is not something you want him to do - whether it be for the embarrassing stories or Dad's 'eyes of doom'.
2) Keep your head on straight - Yes, we all know dates are supposed to be fun, but knowing what's going on is important both for your own safety and for you love life. Is your date acting suspicious or just nervous? Maybe you'd want to end the date early or do something to calm him down. Is he taking notice of what you're wearing or just ogling? The choice to either wink at him or just stare knowingly is up to you. Is his attention on you or the girl next to you? You might wish to reward him with a smile or a slap. Situational awareness is not just for soldiers on the front but also for young women on the prowl.
3) Be nice - Have a positive attitude, find things that you like and tell him. Compliment him about his clothes, how he looks and how well the date is going. It puts him at ease and also makes him feel important. It also shows him that you're taking notice of him and you appreciate him. But, don't lie. Like I said, look at the bright side of things - the service of the restaurant may have been slow but the ambience was terrific. Try making it into a habit, you aren't lying - you're just being diplomatic!
4) Do not complain - This may be technically part of tip three, but it deserves a separate heading. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't tell him that something is wrong or something makes you uncomfortable. The way you phrase it and the tone you use is important here. 'Venting', like we do with our girl friends, is not going to go over well with him since he'll probably misinterpret it. Grin and bear it then tell him after the date in calm, reasoned tones your problem. Trust me, he'll understand and he'll try to make it up to you.
5) Enjoy the date - A date is a chance to get to know each other and to enjoy yourselves. Have fun during the date. Try not to be hyper-critical and just take things in stride. If you're not having fun, your date will notice and, trust me, he will get nervous which will probably start ruining the experience for both of you. Also, just let your guard down for a little while. Let him see the real you. He may or may not like it, but in the end he will appreciate the honesty of the act. Besides, if he doesn't like you for you, why should you keep on dating?
6) Afterwards, show interest - If you really like the guy, waiting for the call after a successful date is nerve-wracking. You know he's interested and you're definitely interested, you're just waiting for him to call you so you could arrange another date. Try giving him a day or two. He usually has to get his act together and work up the courage to call. If he doesn't call, he's probably still tongue-tied from being in your presence. Call him up to say hello. Talk about the date and how you had fun and give hints. No matter how dense he will pick up on it and he'll probably be asking you for another date!
7) Be consistent - For those who've crossed the 'First Date' Rubicon, try maintaining the impression you made on him on that first date. Men don't like surprises except, of course, if they plan them. This doesn't mean, however, that you'll just give him the first date you. Talk to each other, both on and off dates, to get to know each other more. What he got on the first date was a sneak peek, what he should get from your continued dating should be the entire reel.

Well, there they are seven tips for dating success! Hopefully, this advice could help lead you through today's tough tangle of relationships. Happy hunting!

How to Look Sexy

Are you tired of looking "blah?" Every woman goes through phases of "ugly," and oddly enough some never come out of them. If you're ready to revamp your look and turn heads, keep reading. No matter what your body shape, you can become sexier today.
1. Get clean. Start with a good shower every morning, or a bath at night. Feeling and looking clean is crucial. Wash with a nice smelling body soap. Get out and pat yourself dry with a towel, and rub in some rich body lotion. You need to be soft and able to cuddle at all times (do not neglect you hands, elbows, and feet). If possible try to layer matching scents on your body, such as soap, lotion, powder, and perfume (ie. vanilla, citrus, rose, etc.)
2. Practice good dental hygiene as well. Get a check up and have your teeth cleaned often. Invest in a good toothbrush, waterpik, and mouthwash. Always keep mint gum, mints, or breath spray on hand.
3. Get groomed. Work with what you've got. But keep it neat and tidy! Trim finger and toe nails weekly, remembering to clean under the nail. No fancy nail polish colours are needed, but a simple beige colour can play down any nail discolouration. If you choose to sculpt your eyebrows, tweeze weekly to avoid going back to square one. Once every 2 or 3 weeks, have a pampering day, including a manicure, pedicure, facial, and bubble bath, even if it's just a spa day at home.
4. Style your hair. Make a trip to the hair salon. A new cut or style will make you feel sexy and confident. Having a change of hair colour is nice, too. Go for something natural and not too dramatic. Deep condition your hair at least once a month. In the mornings, flat iron your hair or put it in a messy bun, depending on your style. Adding extensions or a wig can radically change an everyday look from "ho-hum" to "wow" to turn a few heads. Studies show that most men are more attracted to longer hair.
5. Create winning skin. Do a steam facial everyday for up to 10 minutes, to open up your pores and get rid of blackheads and acne. to do this, Get a bowl of boiling water, and a towel, and just sit with your face in the steam, using the towel as alittle tent/mini sauna over your head and the bowl.Caution: doing it for longer then 10 minutes, will just stress out your skin, which will just make it worse! Wash your face right away afterwords with a cleanser made for your type of skin. Then rinse and splash your face with cold water to close your pores, making them smaller and preventing dirt going back into them. An alternative to this is to use a facial scrub to get rid of flaky, dead skin cells.
-Optional: Put on a self-tanner lotion for the face (2 shades darker is perfect for pale skin types) Put a dime size on each cheek and one on your forehead. Blend into your complexion. Wait until dry (about 2 minutes) and wait about 30 minutes until you see results. The great thing about self tanners is that they last all day and you don't have to reapply it like make-up! For darker skin tones, use a bronzer on the cheeks and lids for a more natural sun-kissed glow with lip gloss on the lips.
6. Show your style.
- Invest in a good pair of curve-hugging jeans. Dark denim looks good on all body types. Jeans are the ultimate sexy accessory when paired with a tank top or baby tee. Up it a notch and add some strappy heels.
- Pick some clothes that flatter your figure and that you feel comfortable in. There's no point picking the latest fashions if you don't feel comfortable in them! Pick clothes that make you feel like you!
- Wear lace-up flats or sneakers. Flats are cute and comfortable--two characteristics that you rarely ever find in the shoe department!
- Wear jewelery that excites you. Find colourful, fun, bright chunky necklaces and bracelets, but if you wear lots of pearls and beads, don't wear a shirt that has a pattern or a picture on it. Wear a monochromatic top with lots of multi-coloured jewellery.
- Black is sexy. It hides fat rolls, creates curves and makes you feel like a goddess.
- Sexy undergarments like thongs might make you feel sexy. Be sure that you're old enough if you going with the thong. Make sure to find your proper size to prevent visible panty line (or visible bra cups!) Don't be afraid to wear or buy a thong, it's just underwear! Who's going to know that you're wearing one? Just make sure you get the low-rise thongs (this means your thong will stay in your pants!)
7. Wear make-up. Just make sure not to go overboard -- subtle is sexy. Accent one feature at a time! For example, one day, put on lip-liner, bold red lipstick, and mascara. For another day, wear subtle pink or clear lip gloss, and wear eye-liner to make your eyes stand out.
8. Get in shape. Create a workout plan. Crunches/Lunges equal flat, hard ab muscles, lunges equal toned legs, and squats equal a toned backside. Running or jogging works all muscles of the body and increases your stamina. Plus, the hormones your body releases while exercising carry on through your evening activities to contribute to your new sexy attitude.

Tips :
- More than anything, be yourself. Being sexy is about being confident and comfortable.
- Be relaxed. For real. Uncertainty and fear tends to have an aura. Don't worry and enjoy yourself.
- It doesn’t matter if you're larger than most girls. You don't have to look like everyone else to be beautiful.
- If you like someone and they are into what you think is beautiful and you think you have to change yourself to fit that kind of style just so you can get the person, don’t even bother. If he or she doesn’t like you for who you are then find someone else.
- Posture has a lot to do with being sexy as well. If you feel confident and walk tall, everyone else will think so too. Keep your shoulders back, and walk with a bit of a strut.
- Go easy on the perfume; keeping yourself clean goes a long way in preventing foul odors, no need to create NEW foul smells.
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day -- it'll help your skin, your diet, and help you feel great!
- Cocoa or Shea butter is really good for normal to dry skin because it makes your body smooth and soft. Face masks and good moisturizers are also good, be sure to get one that is non-comodegenic (does not clog pores) and matches your skin type.
- Martial arts, Pilates, Yoga and Ballet are good toning activities.
- Dab some clear lip gloss onto your eyelids for a sexy dewy look . Apply eyeliner to the outer corners of your eyelids only, one coat of mascara, some blush or bronzer, and lip-gloss.
- Having a boyfriend who you love is a good thing, but being sexy and single is good, too. Don't obsess over your love life.

Warnings :
- Don't overdo it. It is always obvious when someone tries too hard.
- Beware of those strappy heels. They can cause mayhem if you don't pay attention!Practice, practice, practice at home. - Leave vanity behind! Don't squeeze into size 5 jeans if you are a size 7. Wearing clothes that are too small for you or don't fit is the worst thing to do. Don't try to make your body beautiful like a supermodel; make your body beautiful as it is.
- Don't go overboard with makeup. You want people to appreciate your natural beauty, so use makeup as a tool to accent your best features.
- In the eyes of some, genuine beauty is highly preferential to "sexiness" as described in the above article. Genuine beauty is not necessarily pertaining to that which glitters. For some, simple, yet complimenting, full clothing is far more desirable than a "sexy" look.
- When applying make-up, emphasise EITHER your eyes OR your lips - NOT both. Heavily made-up eyes with full lips tends to appear too 'over-the-top' - concentrate on just one of these features.
- Similarly, do not combine short skirts with low tops - go for either cleavage or legs; both together is overwhelming and cheap.
- Don't feel threatened by another beautiful person!!! Everyone has something special or unique from another person. This includes YOU! Everyone has weaknesses and insecurities, even if it is not as obvious to other people. So be confident in your individual strengths and who you are.

Things You'll Need :
- Clothes that are sexy without showing too much
- Shampoo and conditioner that you trust
- Confidence
- Make-up
- A smile!

How to Look Good for a Night out

Ever wondered how to make your make-up, hair and everything else immaculate? Read on to find out!
1. Give yourself lots of time before you have to go.
2. Use a shampoo and conditioner made for your hair type, wash your hair well and condition.
3. Towel dry your hair, comb through with a wide tooth comb.
4. Blow dry your hair, then use straighteners to make it straighter! However, if you prefer loose curls (or your hair is naturally curly) use a diffuser with a curling balm. this will ensure that the curls are bouncy and full.
5. Time for your make up!
6. Use a tiny bit of foundation to cover up any blemishes on your face.
7. Apply a beige eyeshadow to your eyelid with a small/medium brush.
8. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, then apply 2 coats of mascara.
9. For glowing cheeks, use a cream blusher. Put a very light dusting on the apple of your cheeks and spread back to your hairline
10. Apply very light shimmering lipgloss, but only put on a very light coat.
11. Nails! You can either paint them with a solid block of colour to compliment your outfit, or just put on a coat of clear nail polish!
12. Now its time to get dressed! Before you do, put on deodrant and a sweet smelling spray or perfume!
13. Choose your outfit carefully! Even if you are going out, you don't want to look slutty or trashy!
14. If you are going out with your boyfriend and want to look special, don't bare all your flesh! It might get his attention, but it won't last long! Try peekaboo tops, or a skirt with a slit in it, but nothing too revealing! If you want to look romantic, try wearing pink or red, or something feminine like a flowing skirt.
15. If it is just a casual night out, wear jeans or a nice pair of trousers with a bright or patterned shirt.
16. If you are going to a party, wear some of your best clothes. Just because you are going somewhere like a party doesn't mean you have to wear a miniskirt and low cut top! If you are comfortable wearing a shorter skirt, wear one with boots. Or you could try wearing jeans, heels and a bright top. If you want to wear a low cut top, team it with jeans or trousers, and flat shoes or kitten heels.
17. If you are wearing open toed shoes, remember to paint your toe nails a colour that compliments your outfit.
18. If you want to go for a safer way to get peoples attention than flashing flesh, try wearing a skirt with patterned or bright tights.
